I am from Kansas (Kansas City) and have not heard of
a Fort Linnwood nor can I find one on the net. Could
you be looking for either Fort Leavenworth (Kansas) or
Fort Leonard Wood (Missouri)?? Fort Leavenworth is near
Kansas City (I grew up in Leavenworth County, Kansas -
about 15 minutes from Ft. Leavenworth). Ft. Leonard Wood
is on the other side of Missouri - 3-4 hours from Kansas City.

I am currently adding in the search for a man you also fits this
description. The young lady say she think that he was married in Tulsa about
40 years ago and soon divorce there also. He was AWL from the Service and
was jailed in Kanas possible in Fort Linnwood.
he had another father at the time possibly and has not been heard from in 40
years or so.
His name could of been one of these two names.
John Davis Kidd or John Ray Tidus. Spelling may not be correct.
