Hi All
Frederick Montague Seymour Holmes from London married Christina Neilson from
Stirling in Collingwood in 1858. No record of that marriage has ever been
found but the date has been passed down in the family and recorded on the
birth certificates of the only 2 children they registered. Here are the
children and spouses of that first generation.

William (Little Billy) GREEN married Laura HOLMES
George WOODALL married Adela HOLMES
Annie Cameron Barbara McDONALD married Frederick HOLMES
Isabella MCDONALD, her sister, married Leslie HOLMES
Roderick MCSWAIN married Christina HOLMES
Paul WILSON married Marion HOLMES (They later went on to become my
grandparents.)
Emily TILLEY married Frank HOLMES
Isabella MCLEOD married Reginald Stephen HOLMES
Florence HOLMES had a couple of illegits and then disappeared off the face
of the earth.
I have the parents of all of these spouses if anyone has a connection.

The family started off at Rosebrook Station in the Grampians, then moved to
Rocklands, Glenelg, and retired finally to Hochkirch, now Tarrington, all in
Victoria.

Isabella and Annie Cameron's sister Julia MCDONALD married Alfred WALKER,
and in the next generation three HOLMES girls married WALKERS in that
family. The MCDONALD parents were Allan MCDONALD and Sarah GILLIS.

Any connections out there?
