I am trying to research my Hosie line that lived in the
Melbourne area from the mid 1800's.

Of interest to me are the following places.
Hosie's Turkish Bathing Palace which was in Bourke St and owned by James
Seves Hosie in the 1870's.
Baths Hotel which was on the corner of Elizabeth St & Craig Lane owned by
J.S. Hosie in the 1870's

I have been very kindly sent names from BDM indexes in Victoria and am now
interested in finding descendants of the following lines who may still be in
the area.

James Seves Hosie m Elizabeth Peitry Div. 1861

Robert Hosie m Ann Kedzlie
Children:
Helen m. Henry Clark, Ann Isabella m. James George, Robert (played cricket
for Victoria 1883/4) & Elizabeth Pietry m. William Frederick Bates

Alexander Hosie m. Harriet Orange
Children:
Robert m. Susan Prince (lived N.Z.), Alexander m. Catherine Foster, George
Charles m. Mary Ann Laurie/Lowe & Alice Maria.

John Hosie m. Christina McKay
Children:
Christina, John, Robert & Isabella

Also James Seves/Saves Hosie m. Lena Mary Wenker in 1900
