I have a Spencer Uptin - it seems that sometimes the name was spelt Upton - and wife Isabella who were living in Bega NSW in 1893 - and possibly through to the early 1900's.
I can find no deaths in NSW for either of them and wondered if they may possibly have moved to Victoria?
They would have been in their 50s at the turn of the century.
