Do you think that there is any chance that the Roddas became Hodders by 1797? My Hodders suddenly appear in Gulval in 1797 with the marriage of Thomas Hodder and Jenefer Tonkin. Their children included Thomas (b. 1799 Gulval) who married Mary Thomas. Thomas and Mary moved to Illogan and Mary is listed in the 1871 census as Mary Rodda. I would be very grateful to know if there is any chance that my Thomas fits with your family at all
