In general, records created prior to 1929 relating to St Francis’ Church
are no longer held in the Centre. The Congregation arrived at St
Francis’ in 1929 and all records prior to that date were taken by the
Archdiocese to St Patrick’s Cathedral, East Melbourne. Please contact
the Melbourne Diocesan Historical Commission 383 Albert St, East
Melbourne Vic 3002 or via email , for
all records prior to 1929.
