Hi Everyone, I have received info regarding William ROBINSON convict 119 .
In Jan 1843 he was found guilty of stealing a bag of coke a bag of potatoes
& a shovel [must have been going to have a cook out] plus receiving a coat &
trousers which he knew were stolen. He was given 7 yrs transportation. yet
on the 23 March 1848 he was convicted of Burglary & was sentanced to 15 yrs
transportation, which is the crime that brought him to W.Aust. How would he
have managed to get out of the earlier transportation ? with 2 years grace
