Comments:
seems a very good boy.
'An excellent boy...quite a favourite with his master'
7 more excellents.
'This lad like Crouch was identured beyond the period when his sentence
terminated, but the master refused to give up the indentures. It has been
arranged that the boy shall recieive 1 pound a month, and find his own
clothes. The ease with which he could get 3 pound a month elsewhere makes
him rahter dissatisfied. He bears an excellent character.'
'being a valuable shepherd the master refused togive up the indentures. It
has been arranged that he should recieve 1 pound a month. He bears a good
character.'
'Term of apprenticeship having expired he has been paid off and discharged;
he has been re-engaged with his former master at 30 pound a year wages.
Peake bears a good character.'
