Greetings listers

I hope everyone has had a very festive and happy
time
for Christmas and New Year.

Even though some people have left the lists while on
holidays, numbers continue to grow. Each message
posted reachs all members on the list, who may be
able to assist you in your research, add to general
knowledge of the area, provide advice on where
information may be found or if your lucky be a long
lost cousin.

covering the Great Southern region
( Albany, Bremmer Bay, Denmark, Esperance,
Katanning, Mt Barker, Ravensthorpe, Walpole
and associated towns)

AUS-WA-CONVICT 59 Researchers
(covering Transported convicts, Colonial convicts
and Parkhurst Boys and their families)

AUS-WA-GERALDTON 62 Researchers
(Covering Dongara to Northampton)

AUS-WA-KALGOORLIE-REGION 63 Researchers
(covering Southern Cross to east of Kalgoorlie,
Leonora and Laverton to Norseman and places between)

AUS-WA-PENSIONER-GUARDS 41 Researchers
(Covering Pensioner Guards, Warders and their
families)


I encourage people to post their family details,
requests for info and participate in the lists you
have joined. The only silly question is one that is
not asked.

Please keep to Regional or family research relevant
to these lists. Messages to be posted in Plain text
format with no attachments thank you.

I recommend either the AUS-WA list for other areas
or Perth DPS Chat list for general family history
queries both in WA and Worldwide.
