Hi Valerie.

To my knowledge there are currently two CD's that contain inward passenger
information. On the disc covering the period 1898-1925 there are two
readily identifiable records that seem to relate to this person.

Name Ship From To
Nationality Arrived Comment
ELLIS HD
Dr Himalaya London Hobart British
31Oct1902 1st
ELLIS HD
Dr Riverina Southampton Melbourne British 17Nov1905
Tourist

In terms of who he was with:

The Himalaya carried just over 100 passengers one being a Mrs Ellis who
travelled 1st & joined the journey at Marseilles.

The Riverina carried just under 100 passengers one being a Mr PW Ellis
(British) who travelled Durban to Melbourne also recorded as a tourist.

If there are specific individuals that you think he might have travelled
with, let me know the names & I will see if they are present in the index.

regards
Stephen
Perth.
