Hi Helen,

Thank you so much for that description of the Aberdeen Street precinct -
just what I wanted. Whether William had wafted off to visit someone I don't
know - it was rather curious, because he'd been missing all night, but the
policeman who recovered the body from the water the next morning said he'd
been there only a short time. But then, I don't know what he meant by a
short time, either.

Yes, I've looked at the WA papers, and got what I could from there - the
reports of the inquest.

I had another look at the Karrakatta Cemetery today myself, and was suprised
to not find him in the index, as he is buried there - but it turns out he
was indexed as EYNOR. I've asked them to change it, but I don't know if
they will.

It is very kind of you to offer to look up the electoral roll, but I
wouldn't want to put you to any trouble or restrict your own research time.
Please only do it if it is a quick and simple operation.
