Dear SKS,

I have 3 Bickley death certificates which tell me the burial places of my family.

Trentham Cemetery was opened in 1870.

1: Cyrus Cromwell Bickley was buried in Trentham cemetery on April 28 1899 aged 35.
He is not on the Burial register for Trentham Cemetery. Death Certificate states he is buried there.

2. Australian Joseph Bickley died August 22 1862 at his parents home Tylden on the Tylden, Trentham Rd aged 8.
No record of him in Tylden or Trentham Cemetery said to be buried Trentham Cemetery then it didnt open until 1870.
Could be at the Blue Mnt Cemetery where the records were burnt twice.

3. Ann Bickley died November 26 1859 in Trentham District, Tylden, 10 mths old. Doesn't state a Cemetery????death certificate reads {where buried - Tylden}
Not on records of Tylden Cemetery. Blue Mnt also?

After reading a letter sent to the Cemetery Trust giving them information of a burial from an "Official authenticated record", which can be viewed as there was no record of the burial plot. Would any of you know where I would start to look, which government department in Vic would hold these records???
