Hello,
I am new to the list. I have been researching my father's family: ZILISCH. Friedrick Wilhelm (5/5/1815-10/17/1886) and Ernestine Wilhelmina SIMON (4/22/1813-8/26/1896) emigrated to Hustisford, WI about 1868. F.W.'s parents were Michael Z. and Maria Konrad. But I don't know anything about them..
They came from Zaeckerick, E. Prussia, near Konigsburg. Does anyone know its name today?
Is anyone working on these folks, or have you come across this name, or whatever the original may have been?
Any info will be gratefully received.
