That song is btw much older than you guessed, it has been a
traditional folk song, which has later been adapted by several
musicians - and poets if I'm not mistaken.

I have thought about 'Durnatella...' too, but don't have an idea what
it might refer to (partly due to the fact that I was born in 1943 and
haven't ever heard that song). Durnatella btw rather sounds like
'Donatella' which would probably be Italian (reminds me of
'villanella', a Italian traditional as I believe) . Were there any
Italian branches in your family? Vienna was very much a multi-ethnic
place before it was seized by the Germanic craze eventually (and lost
so much in the course of this disaster).
