Hallo, Listers,
I am trying to locate the origins of my gt. grandfather HERMANN FLEMME born
1855. Hermann Flemme may have been born in Austria, but I have been unable
to find any documentation in England of his origins.

The only thing I know about him is, he travelled to England in 1868 with his
cousin WILHELMINA FLEMME b 1853 and her uncle CONRAD EHLERS, a Hannoverian
travelling musician.

I believe Wilhelmina's connection to the EHLERS family is:
Sophie Christiane Hedwig Ehlers whose married name was:-
Mrs Franz Henning Jacob FLAMME

I would be pleased to receive any suggestion from the list.
