My interest was John CURRIE m. Sarah CAMPBELL. On the 1831 list I found
in

BOWMANHILL (Balchriston, Culzean Castle district)

John Currie, 45, Lab, not Ag. Mar
Sarah Campbell, 40
Henry, 15
Charles, 9
Peter, 9
William, 5
Elizabeth, 5

1841 census says John CURRIE was born in Ireland. Sarah CAMPBELL not on
1841 census for Kirkoswald.

Son William Currie, b. 1826 Kirkoswald, m. Mary MURDOCH in 1849 and
Elisabeth SPENCE in 1854, both in Ayr. Children by both marriages.
