Subject: Lost Ayrshire Family

Seeking help re' Monumental Inscription lookups in Ayrshire.
My earliest Elliot so far is one John Elliot who married Margaret
Cowan,1796 in St Quivox.I would like to find their final resting places
and have been able to search Inscriptions for Secessionist Graveyard
Ayr,Coylton,Wallacetown,Crosbie,Dundonald and Newton Green with no luck.

John and Margaret had 6 children,all born in St Quivox and the 1861
census has one of the daughters,Margaret living with her nephew in
Troon.Have also found a newspaper report of son Williams death in 1860
in Prestwick.He was the"tenant" of a hotel in Troon and had been a local
identity as one of the Ayr to Glasgow coach drivers. I have assumed from
this that the family stayed in Ayrshire and that John and Margaret are
buried there somewhere.

Any help greatly appreciated.
