G’day all,
I've posted this on a a couple of other sites, but I might as well
have a winge here too

To quote a late great countryman of mine – ‘I’M AS MAD AS HELL AND I’M NOT GOING TO
TAKE IT ANYMORE!”

Just who do these ancestors of ours think they are.

We all spend hours of our valuable time looking for them, so that we can
preserve their memories for our future generations, and what thanks do we
get? None, nothing, nada, nil!

Wouldn’t you think that they would have had the common courtesy to leave
just a few clues, so that we could at least make a start, but no, all they
do is sit there in heaven, creating mischief by inventing leads that go no
where, or arranging for vital clues to disappear, or throwing up
bureaucracy to get in our way.

All this, despite the help of all you wonderful people.

OK, now I’ve got that off my chest, (we’re all going to win in the end),
I’ll press on …

I’m still looking for – Alexander Knox & Jane Clegg (Ayrshire, Scotland –
1850’s) and on my wife's side, Armando Caramia (Alexandria, Egypt - 1940’s)

Any takers?

Grumpy
