There was a software program advertised in the most recent issue of THE
GENEALOGICAL HELPER that inserts key events in history into your
genealogy to help put your ancestry in perspective. I think it's mostly
US, though world events probably intrude. There's no reason, of course,
that we can't do that ourselves. It would make a fun project while
we're waiting for that certificate to come from the GRO or someone to
answer our queries.
