Hi to all listers,

I am seeking information on the LOGAN line with births in Colmonell and
Ballantrae. My ggfather was Hugh LOGAN b. 1825 at Colmonell and his wife
was Janet Barclay b. 1836.
Hugh's father was John LOGAN and his mother Margaret FERGUS(S)ON. I have
no further information on either and would very much like to get further
back with this line which is my father's.
I know from 1841 and 1851 census forms that James BARCLAY was a farmer at
Cundry Mill, and his daughter married my ggfather at Cundry Mill 16 July 1856.

Apart from information concerning my family I should be very happy if
anyone can tell me any information concerning Cundry Mill. What would
James B have farmed, and what did the mill mill if you know what I mean? I
should be very pleased to hear from anyone with an interest in this area.
