Hi there,
I'm looking for info on Rachel KELLY born about 1850 in Girvan.
The LOCKHART name also features but I can't put the family together.
Rachel had a son, John (my g-grandfather) in 1877 in Greenock as an unmarried mother.
It is believed (from my late grandmother-dau of John) that Rachel had siblings-Tom, Margaret, Jean and William.
Could someone please help?
Maybe a birth lookup for Rachel or census records??
Rachel came to Australia in 1886 and left her son John with his grandmother in Scotland-he later came to Australia in 1895.
