Hello,

Just recently joined the list and wanted to post my Ayrshire names. My
gg.grandparents, John McGEE b.~1818 Dalry, married ~1845, Ann SHIELDS, b.
~1824 Beith. They had 9 children that I know of.

Their son Robert McGEE, b.1851 Dalry, married in 1881, in Dreghorn,
Isabella FULTON, b. ~1857, daughter of Archibald FULTON and Jean JAMIESON,
of Dreghorn.

Their youngest son, Alexander Fulton McGEE, b.1897, was my grandfather. He
and my grandmother Sophia Fowler McEwan BRYDEN, b. 1897, married in 1924 in
Dreghorn. They immigrated to Canada in ~1929.

Sometime after my grandfathers birth, McGee was changed to McGHEE. We
don't know why.

I would be very interested in hearing from anyone.
