On the 1841 census for Riccarton, 75 year old John GEMMILL shoemaker is the head of household and the next person listed is
Elizabeth GEMMILL 40 and the letters "F S" were her 'occupation'. Also in the household (in order after Elizabeth) Janet WILSON,
10, John FISHER 50, Margaret FISHER 40, Matthew 14, Isabella 13, Elizabeth 11, Mary 9, John 7, William 5, and Sarah 1. I believe
that John GEMMILL is Margaret's father and so Elizabeth (though the same age--a twin?) Margaret's sister, but what is "F S"?
