Surname: Fraser, Frazer, Sim
-------------------------

I haven't been able to locate your Catherine Frazer in Fenwick or any other
of the local graveyards. I have checked the pre 1855 for many of the Kilmarnock
area graveyards for you and there is very little for the name Fraser or
Sim. There are only two mentioned in Fenwick:-
John Gemmell w Margaret Frazer d 1812 a 58y, s David G d Rio de Janeiro
1822.

by Col Crawford of Crawford; Elizabeth Grieve (h William Frazer, gardener
there). housekeeper there for many years, d 2.12.1787 a in 49y, 2 chn int
there.

I don't know whether this is of any use to you, but if Thomas died after
1855, the inscription wouldn't be in the book. The recordings were only
taken up to 1855 as death
certificates would be available after that date. He could of course moved
away - perhaps to live with another member of the family in another parish.
Have you checked the OPR's for the deaths?
