I noticed your message about the Relief Book records but it is your name
that I am questioning. My Dad's surname was Mair, born in Machline in
Feb. 1897. Could there be any connection? I have inquired about my Dad
and his siblings and gotten nothing so wonder if there is no one
anywhere around Kilmarnack or Machline that knows of the family. I once
visited Kilmarnack and in the center of town, or at last what we
considered the center, there was a lovely old church with grave yard all
around it. Several headstones in there had the name Mair on them but I
didn't know if there was a relationship. Any help, anyone?
