Subject: [AYR] help please with family placements in wedding photos

I have recently received a 'turn of the century' wedding photo and would
like to be able to identify the people. I know who the families are in the
photo but am unsure of which group is the GOULD (brides family) and which
group is the WELLS (grooms family).
Would it have been 'photo etiquette' for the bride's family to stand next to
the Best Man and the Grooms family to stand next to the bridesmaid ?
So it would be like this from left to right:
Brides family, Best Man, Groom, Bride, Bridesmaid, Grooms family and sundry
children sitting on the ground
Please help me if you can. The photo is of my Paternal Grandparents and
their family, my 90 year old aunt said the positioning of the families is as
above - would that be right ? Need to be able to identify them. There are
six children in the photo and the oldest, my Great Aunt Ivy GOULD, is
sitting on the ground at the feet of the Groom.
