And now the Revd Willam Orr is ordained. In later years, the UP church at Fenwick was named the William Orr Memorial Church.

Willm Carswell from the Presby of Glasgow being present were invited to correspond - Read the minutes of Presby appointed the ordination of Mr Willm Orr - The Presby repaired constituted to the place where the Congr were assembled. Mr Duncan commenced public worship with praise and prayer and preached a sermon on 2d Tim 1-8 Be not then ashamed of the testimony of our word The Moderator narrated the steps which had been taken by the Congr amd Presby with a view to the proposed ardination and put to Mr Willm Orr the questions of the formula which were satisifactorly answered - after which the said Mr Willm Orr was solemnly ordained to the office of the holy ministry and the pastor at inspection of the asso Congr of Fenwick with prayer and the laying on of the hands of Presby and the Brethering present gave him the right hand of fellowship - Mr Blackwood then gave an address to the Brother newly ordained and to the Congr and concluded the public worship with prayer and praise a!

with the pronouncing of the blesing - The Presby having returned to Mr Fultons house Mr Orr on being asked expressed his readiness to subscribe the Westminster confession of faith and formula when required on which his name was added to the Roll of Presby - Mr Cairns having returned as requested with Mr Orr for constituting the session and appointing a Presby Elder on his return reported that the session had met and made choice of Mr Jas Dunlop as their Presby Elder whose name was put on the Roll an who being present took his seat accordingly - on all which Mr Jas Dunlop as Commissioner from the Congr took instruments and craved extracts
