"Fenwick 14th March 1835

The Un: Ass: Session met, and was constituted by the Moderator with praise
and prayer. The same exercises were repeated by John Dunlop. Were present
with them Wm & John Gemmell, John & David Dunlop, John Taylor & Robt
Lindsay - The committee appointed to converse with Allan Fulton reported
that, in present circumstances they recommended a delay till after the
communion in June. The Session adopted the recommendation, and reappointed
the committee to converse with him at their convenience - Compeared John
Steel, and supported the prayer of his petition "that the rebuke be
administered to him only in the presence of the Session" owing to the
thinness of the present meeting the consideration of this matter was delayed
till next monthly meeting when John is expected again to appear. David
Dunlop to warn him - Agreed to grant Hugh Steel extracts of minutes
regarding his case 22d Augt 1833 and June 30th 1834 - Agreed to record with
regret the death of James Love for many years an Elder in this congregation
his death took place at Moorend 3d April 1835.
