I went back the next week with more determination <g> and managed to decipher
it
Frame Reference 489 RHP
Wed 8 May 1723 Robert Gemmill in Burnbriggs was buried
Thurs 9 May 1723 Thomas Gilmour in Gildrum muir was buried

The second entry was the 9th not the 2nd. I still couldn't make out the bit
about the apprentis in the third entry.
