"Fenwick Jany 26 1840

The united assoceate Session met and was Constituted by the Rev William Orr
Moderator were present along with him John & Thomas Taylor Robert Lindsay
John & Alexd Gemmill William & James Young John Clachan James Boyd The
Committee appointed to Converse with John Wallace Reported favourable of his
knowledge and apparent State of mind and the Session being Satisfied with
the Report agreed to Relieve him from Church Disipline Compeared john
Wallace and he was Relieved accordingly when the Moderator tendered to him a
few Exhortations with prayer Compeared Robert Alexander and Margret Mure the
moderator put a few queston to them the Session was Satisfied with there
ansures and apparent State of mind and agreed to Relieve them from Church
Disipline and they were Relieved accordingly when the Moderator tendered to
them a few Exhortations with prayer Agreed that the Collection for the Synod
fund be made on the Second Sabbath of Feb
