"Fenwick April 22 1840

The united assoceate Session met and was Constituted by the Rev William Orr
Moderator with praise and prayer and was Succeded in the Same Excercies by
Robert Lindsay were present along with them Alexr Watt John Gemmill William
Young James Boyd & Andrew Pecken Robert Woodburns Case Remains the Same as
far as known to the Session and the Committee is Reappointed and instructed
to make enquirey Concerning Roberts Case by the next monthly meetting of
Session John Young was Expected to appear before the Session this day but
has not appeared the Session agreed that he be warned to attend the Session
next week on Tuesday about 8 o clock P M Thomas Taylor to intamate this to
him Janet Becket was Received by Certificate from the united assoceate Congr
of Kilmaurs the Session agreed that the ordenance of the lords Supper be
observed in this Congregation on the first Sabbath of June The Moderator
Stated to the Session that there was a motion on the Presby Table to Remove
the Presby of Kilmarnock from that place to Ayr or Irvine the Session was
unamouse that the Seat of Presby Remain at Kilmarnock"
