I purchased images of 2 death registers (Parish of Girvan) in the 1890's from the Scotlandspeople site, and both list Sam Nelson of 11 Knockcushion St in the "informant" column. The death registrations were for Mary Henderson Sloan and her daughter Sarah Sloan Thomas Hazlehurst. Does anyone have any information/connection to Sam Nelson (he was Sarah's son-in-law)? I did a search on both the Scotlandspeople site and Google, but am unable to find anything on him.
