I might have a slight conncetion for you.
I think I have one of your Grace's sisters.
I have an AGNES DUNLOP who married a James Cowan.
Their daughter, Mary Cowan was married in Ayr to Hugh Christie in 1860.
They named their second son WILLIAM DUNLOP Christie (b. 1863).

Alas, this is all I have with Dunlop, but we will have to keep each other posted if we find more connections. Ayr and Maybole are pretty close.
