Hi , I recently had the opportunity to visit Newmilnes. Most of my Hood's
came from here.

Driving into Newmilnes from Port Glasgow, on the right hand side set back is
a two story building "Hood & Morton" Lace manufacturers. I off course went
in. A very nice lady informed me that there hadn't been a Hood there since
1868. However she did show me the board room which had old photos of Hood's.

The lady gave me the new name of the company which I have lost. They are
moving this month, the lady was going to enquire of the current owners if I
could have the photos.

So can anyone tell me the name of the company now occupying this building?
They make lace curtains now.
