I'm wondering if anyone is interested in the above Jean or Thomas Stirrat??? The death of this Jean Stirrat is in the A&S Herald in July 1946. She was the wife of Lawrence Westhaver of Glen Margaret, Nova Scotia, Canada, and died there in June of 1946. Her MI is in the Roman Catholic Cemetery (but her husband appears to be buried with his parents in a Protestant Cemetary). The MI indicates that she was born 1904, but I cannot find anything "appropriate" on the LDS Family Search site, or in the A&S Herald intimations site.

Jean Stirrat obviously had a connection to North Ayrshire since her obituary was in the Ardrossan & Saltcoats Herald. It stated she was the daughter of the late Thomas Stirrat and his wife Isabella (so don't know if that meant that Isabella was also deceased in July 1946).

If anyone can offer ANY inormation on this family I'd very much appreciate hearing from you.
