Lambie were tailors in Mauchline parish in 1800's , they lives at Damhead, Craigbyre, Glenhall, Hill, and Lillylaw. with exception of Lillylaw, all within a mile or so of Damhead and Bargour. my great grandfather William was born at Bargour (now Bargower Farm, riding school)

Hugh Nisbet b. 1824 married Elizabeth Lambie abt 1845.
