Portland Row was a "Miner's Row", providing cheap accommodation for local
coal mine employees. It was situated in the village of Hurlsford, about 3
miles east of Riccarton. If you do a Google search on "Portland Row" you
will find quite a bit of information.
No idea what the middle word would be.
