i have a charlotte hamilton who married william neill in maybole in 1814..maybe a cousin? as her father was robert hamilton..but so far can't find him...also noticed that other marriages on the same page list usual occupations for the grooms..weaver,laborer,joiner etc but williams says "at Forehill"..is it likely that was a local estate?..i think he was a gardener...thanks
