Hi all
just like to add my Mackies etc to the list. My earliest Mackie ancestors were;

John Mackie marr Ann[ie] Young, Symington Ayrshire 7 Mar 1794 John a farmer.
Children;

John b 1795 Barrowfield Ayr marr Marion Breckenridge

Adam b 1796, " " marr Janet Brown of irvine, Adam was a master mariner.

Andrew b 1798 " " marr Mary Crichton 1831 Dreghorn, Andrew a Farmer.

Margaret b 1800 " never married.

Jane b c 1804 marr Andrew Young 1828 Dreghorn.

James b 1806 Craigie. never married. James a farmer

Robert b c 1806 " marr Agnes Dickie 1836 Knocklandside . Robert a farmer.

Richard b 1808 " marr Margaret Gray 1841 Dreghorn. Richard a farmer.

Ann b 1810 " never married.

Robert is my ancestor, would love to hear from other descendants.
