Hello, I am sorry about not finishing the information on Brings Funeral
homes. Yes, they are both in Tucson and listed as still in business. The
prefix to the phone numbers in Tucson is 520-.
I am not sure where Scott Ave. is, but coming from Phoenix, I suggest you
take the 22nd St. exit. It runs parallel to Broadway which runs through the
middle of downtown Tucson Business District.
You will come to Speedway exit, Broadway exit and then 22 St. is the next
exit.
You will be headed East. You can then turn left on the next main lighted
street SHORTLY after Park Ave (Park Ave. is approximately TWO miles East of
the freeway.)
Broadway should be the next main lighted cross street. I would then turn
right on Broadway headed East. From there you should be able to locate the
number of the Brings Funeral Home.
I do know there used to be a suicide lane on Broadway from 7a.m. to 9 a.m.
going West and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m going East, with no left hand turns.
Thank you for offering to see if you could see if you can get the
information on my uncle at the Cochise Co. Courthouse. I will see what I can
find out from there first and ask if the will release the information to
you.
Let's keep in touch so that if I can be of further help with Tucson or
Coaches County information for you, I will be glad to help you. Perhaps you
know more about them than I?
There is no Thank You necessary from you. I am paying back help others have
given me.
An AZ Friend,
Gladys
