Here are the records for the ARAIZA surname from the book, Arizona Death
Records, volume 1:
Valley View Cemetery, near Mammoth, Pinal Co. (aka New Mammoth Cemetery)
located beside the older Mammoth Cemetery. I have directions to the cemetery
if you need
them) surveyed in 1975 with 69 marked graves and a few unmarked graves.
Antonia Araiza died May 19, 1950 ("Mother"; on same stone as Jose Ariaza)
Jose Araiza, died June 28, 1925 ("Father"; on sane stone as Antonia Araiza)
Jose Araiza, 10 yrs, died June 14, 1918 (son of Jose Araiza and Antonia
Rodriquez,
both of Hermosillo, Sonora: sent to Mammoth, Arizona ) Listed under the
Tucson Mortuary
Records (see below)
Mammoth Cemetery (Older Mammoth Cemetery) The cemetery has been neglected.
In recent
years a main highway has been built through it. Surveyed in 1975 with 54
identified burials
dating from 1891. A few unmarked graves
Jesus Araiza, born Aug 14, -----, died Sept 1, 191---, (may be a child of
Francisco Ariaiza)
Tucson Mortuary Records, for the period Aug 1908 to Jan 1926. Those records
before
1913 refer only to U.S. Citizens employed by the Greenway Mine at Cananea
Eliza M. de Araiza, 17 yrs died May 15, 1921 Iwife of Armando Araiza; dau.
of
Abilardo Martinez (of Mex.) and Griseldo Munesto (of Santa Ana, Sonora);
bd in Holy Hope Cem., Tucson
Enrique Araiza, 6 months, died April 6, 1917 (son of Enrique Ariaza; bd in
Holy Hope Cem., Tucson)
Marsh Family Records from Mortuary Records in Nogales, Santa Cruz Co.
These records only cover the years Oct 1916 to Feb 1924
Mrs. Araiza died Aug 31, 1919 (D.at Nogales; sent to Sonora New Cem.)

Mrs. Isabel Araiza, 65yrs, died July 21, 1922
Manuel Araiza, 30 yrs, died Oct 4, 1921
Mik S. Araiza, 24 yrs, died Jan 5, 1948
Ygnacio Araiza, 61 yrs, died Dec 5, 1904
