Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that soon AZ will be in a beta testing for the program that Iowa is now using to load cemetery photo's. I think AZ will just have one administrator for the site and that will be our Tombstone Photo CC, Floyd Smith. It will take a lot of work off him receiving photo's by email and then loading them to the site. In Iowa each CC administers their county photo's but they have 99 counties compared to what we have. With this program everyone who has photo's to submit will submit them themselves and the administrator of the site will approve them and upload them to the site. AZ will be one of the first in the beta testing use of this program for use in other states.

I was in the beta testing with the Iowa program and worked out a lot of bugs in the system so everything should be much better when we get the program to test.

You can check out the program at http://iagenweb.org/graves/

What you will see is just the counties that are participating and then the way to load photo's, you will not see the administrator's part of the program.

Each photo will be submitted by the name of the grave stone, the cemetery they are buried in, the county they are buried in, the email of the submitter and any comments that you want to make pertaining to the photo and the actual photo. You can submit a pic that is huge and the program automatically cuts it down to under 50kbs to save space on the server.

Can't wait until we get to play with the testing process.
