The Ajo Historical Society has quite a collection of area obituaries. It is kept at their museum at old St. Catherine's Indian Mission up near the mine. I am one of the volunteers their. It is open to the public from November to May, other times by appointment.

Ajo has seen quite a lot of growth since its nadir in 1986.
Lots of retirees have replaced the miners. Nothing big, but like Tombstone it is a tough little town.
