Historian needs your help,
I have an old letter which most has been confirmed as the truth, F.W. Crawford was surveying a Township in Arizona on the Mexican border between 1881 and 1886 and was attacked by Geronimo's band of hostiles. F.W. Crawford later went into cattle business 1892 with James C. Baldwin in Soccorro County New Mexico. Crawford died in 1896. I am looking for any family member or Historian who can confirm F.W. Crawford as a surveyor during the Apache Indian uprising and was attacked by geronimo as his survey party was at work. You will go down in Western History and in BLM and the general land office history.
