Dear David,
I am interested in the family of Ella Eudora GARRETT,
daughter of Felix Grundy GARRETT (b. Dec 1871, TX) and
Emma Eudora BOWDEN (b. May 1874, VA).

Ella E. GARRETT was born in 1902 in Dobyville, Burnet
Co., Texas. Her mother died in 1910 near Lampassas,
Texas. It appears that Felix Grundy GARRETT raised
the children by himself, as the 1920 Census from
Wichita Co., TX still shows him as a widower, with 6
children and no wife.

At the time Ella E. GARRETT GENTNER died, in 1941 in
Ajo, AZ, her father was said to be living in San
Simon, Cochise Co., AZ. I have not been able to find
out what happened to him.

According to some info I found on the TXGENWEB site
for Burnet County, Felix Grundy GARRETT was the son of
Felix Grundy GARRETT, Sr. and Nancy B. HALL. Felix
(Sr.) was the son of William GARRETT and Charlotte
Julia MCCREARY. This info was posted by Ella Faye
GARRETT, niece? of Ella E. GARRETT GENTNER.

Does it sound like we have the same family here?
