Hi Gloria - Following on Barbara's posting, one Meredith S. VAUGHN is found in the earlier 1960 Phoenix metro city directory, along with his wife Ruth. He is listed as retired, owner of the property residing at 1318 West Flower, phone CR 4-2830. The same information is confirmed in the cross address directory. Property tax and land records will exist and probably voter registration records as well as most homeowners are registered voters.

If you'd like me to look further back to try and determine when they came to Phoenix or when they may have had children at home (if they had any at all), or what was Meredith's occupation and employer prior to retiring, just leave a posting.
