Dear Glen, I looked through all the Bettie Adams posted messages and her
Dowell and mine do not seem to be connected.My Dowell tie comes fairly recently with my great aunt Amelia (Matthes) Bevington's daughter Lucrece Bevington's (b.Ap 1888) marriage to John Emery Dowell, Jr. and they had born to them after 1920: Lucrece Beverly Dowell and Emery (Sonny) Dowell who married Ruth Timberlake and all lived in Tempe AZ in the 1950s. If you have any more info. than I have already posted, I'd appreciate your sharing on the Maricopa msg. Board.Thanks for your guidance
