Hi Darlene - At the Maricopa County Recorders office there are number of recordations for Gertrude from 1971 to 1993 most of which are related to the settling of her estate. I did not see a probated will listed in the document collection (see attachment below and click to view).

Generally, documents posted on line after 1992 you can view and print without charge. Documents prior to that you can order for a nominal fee.

I don't believe it is legally necessary to record a probated will in Arizona, but you'd have to ask a Arizona practicing lawyer or the recorders office about any such requirement. If it is required, then Gertrude's probated will should be available assuming she didn't die intestate.

I did not find a Gertrude ROMAN listed in my 1975 Phoenix metro phone book.
