I am new to the list and know nothing about the area, so forgive my
ignorance, please.
I am looking for any information on Constance Mary THOMAS born March 1846 in
Portugal who came to Massachusetts about 1863. She married Joseph ESTELITA
born March 1836, possibly from Portugal who supposedly came on the same ship,
although family lore has it that they didn't meet and marry until they
landed. They had two sons while living in Massachusetts but by 1872 they had
settled in the San Francisco Bay area. I am hoping someone recognizes
something, since this has been a brick wall for me. Family lore also has it
that Joseph ESTELITA was from Spain, but all information I have found on US
Federal census records (which I know aren't always the most accurate)
indicate that he was from Portugal.
