We are decedents of Samuel Babcock, b. NY (Orange or Rockland Co) 1808. m.
Elizabeth Ann ?
Moved to Hope, Warren Co, NJ before 1840. First born son, Josiah, b. 1830,
in NY, too.

Could be we are - or are not - descended from Joseph and Charity Babcock, as
I have yet to uncover Samuel's parents.

If this should line up, I have 5 brothers and 5 male cousins to choose from.
